On 15 December 2025, the Engineering Education for Sustainable Futures (EESF) project held its online conference, bringing together engineering educators, researchers and practitioners to share the project's findings and to discuss how sustainability is being built into engineering curricula across Europe.
247 participants joined the live session, which ran for just under three and a half hours.
The programme paired two keynote addresses with presentations from the project's research and teaching work packages. The four main thematic talks are published below, each alongside the evidence base and teaching resources it draws on. Every talk is available in two formats, you can watch the video or listen to the audio.

The Discovery and Research work package assessed how sustainability is currently taught in engineering education and identified effective practice. Its findings are published in the Discovery Report and the Competence Research Report.

The Teaching and Learning work package produced a teaching framework and a suite of Open Educational Resources for embedding the Sustainable Development Goals in engineering teaching. The framework and OERs are available in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
